For Bow, I Must Lie
regret is a dangerous thing it will eat you whole, the parasite that it is it knows no bounds, spreading from one thing to another i know of no cure for this deadly disease
instead, one must keep that box closed must appreciate the lessons learned some things had to happen for you to become who you are the past will always provide, but cannot be exploited
the water has already flowed away the ripple has already spread beyond you trying to undo it will only tire you all you can do is sit back and appreciate the water’s glistening in the sun
but all along I had you to teach me those lessons, show me how the water would flow, tell me in such great detail what was in that box you provided an easier path
but I thought I knew better I needed to see the water’s ripple for myself all just to see, in the end, that you were right so for now, I must lie to say I do not regret
